In the beginning of this country, Farms were the center of the American family and economy. The American farmer is widely viewed as a symbol of hard work, ingenuity, grit, and independence. It's that heritage upon which this country was built.
Having traveled over 40 countries on 6 continents as an officer in the US Army and as a private business owner, my observation is America is the only “free” country in the world with respect to our inalienable rights: life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. In fact, in the Declaration of Independence, the Founders made clear as to defend and protect everyone’s God-given rights. As the result of the Revolutionary War, America broke off from the authoritarian oversight of the globalist monarchy. Farmers, small business owners, teachers took arms to fight for our individual freedom from tyranny. On June 6, 1944, Americans bravely fought once again for the freedom this time for the entire Western World to defeat globalist totalitarianism. While on Active Duty, living in Europe, I took the opportunity to tour the Normandy Coast with my fellow soldiers. Inspired by the tranquil beautify of this coastal farm community, I named our farm after the battle sight that became the turning point for World War II, Pointe du Hoc.
High on the cliffs of Pointe du Hoc, German forces manned formidable defense bunkers which would rain down 155-millimeter artillery fire on Utah and Omaha Beaches as the US forces met land. At 6:30 a.m., the 2nd Ranger Battalion was given the mission to scale the 100-foot cliffs and disable the German positions. In one of the single most significant acts of bravery in US military history, 200 US Army Rangers swam to shore, climbed the cliffs and took out the bunkers. Of the 200 men that charged into battle only 90 remained following the attack. Their bravery enabled the US and British forces to overpower the Nazi defenses and begin the ground campaign that would free France and dismantle the regime.
We are a Family Farm
Our farm sits high on a ridge in Southern Indiana, adjacent the Hoosier National Forest with mixed pastures and woods - a beautiful place to raise a family and animals. Our goal is to produce high quality meats and produce, naturally. We don't use pesticides or hormones - we use all natural means of building soil with compost and rotational grazing methods.
Lamancha Buck. Mechanized Infantry, ground operations (weeds and brush control).
Leghorn Rooster. Rangers, field operations (predator monitoring).
Kunekune Barrow, Infantry, jungle operations (forest regeneration).
